Introduction to Mountain Biking – The Foundation

You’ve heard so much about mountain biking and it’s benefits, the fitness, the friendships, and the opportunity to get out into the wilderness but have never found the avenue on which to experience the sport. Now you can learn about the sport and the bike itself from professionals in just a few hours.

We’ll start by running through your bike, from basic maintenance to proper fitting, brakes, shifting, and even suspension (shocks and stuff). Once you are familiar with your bike we’ll dive into how to ride out on our trails. We’ll start with body position and move into shifting and braking. Perhaps most critically we’ll practice mounting and dismounting the bike on climbs and descents to ease your fears and keep you safe on the bike!

You should bring along your own bike, helmet, and gloves.
