You know that motivating kids to get active while having fun is particularly challenging these days. Between social distancing requirements and the lure of the phone/tablet/computer there are more obstacles to safe and fun ways for youth to engage while getting exercise than ever before. That’s where The Ride Guides and our professional coaches come in, your kids will find new excitement on the bike and will be eager to get outside and exercise in the fresh air after riding with us.
We can arrange private coaching or small group sessions (your pod) for your child. If you choose the group session you can assemble your own group of COVID safe peers for your kid to ride with. Our coaches maintain all the COVID protocols and will help the crew to do the same. Whether your kids are looking to get quicker for race season, improve their bike handling and descending skills, or just have more fun, they will get there with our coaches’ help!
We know that kids learn differently than adults and that’s why we’re stoked to introduce the lead coach of our youth programs, Graham Dittman. Graham has over ten years of National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) coaching experience and is himself a parent. Graham trains the coaches for NICA and as a result, he is an invaluable resource for parents who are seeking to improve their own child’s enjoyment and performance on the trail. Whether your kid wants to race, freeride, or just learn a new sport, Graham is an ideal coach and will tailor the sessions to your needs.
