This 5-hour trail riding clinic is set in the Soquel Demonstration State Forest and is geared towards helping you get the most out of the legendary Flow Trail. By the end of the day you’ll have found new nuggets and lines throughout everyone’s favorite lap and developed even more confidence on two wheels.
This is a ride-focused clinic, we won’t be spending too much time on static skill development. You should have a firm grasp on shifting and braking and hopefully a session or two on a pumptrack to get into the right headspace for this one. The Flow Trail has over 50 bermed corners on it’s 4.5 mile descent so we’ll be heavily focused on cornering technique.
In this clinic we’ll focus on:
Pumping for speed and control
Technical line selection
A bit of skinny riding
When asked what single skill they could improve upon most pro racers will answer “Cornering”. We’ll be using on-site video feedback to help you dial in your body position, line choice, and braking points. This is guaranteed to be the most fun clinic you’ve ever participated in!
Please note if you’ve never ridden the Flow Trail, this is only a 15 mile loop but there is over 2500′ of climbing involved in this trail so this will be a rather rigorous ride. The physical address is 29400 Highland Way, Los Gatos, CA 95033 and we’ll be meeting in the upper parking lot across the steel bridge.
The cost is only $249 and will include trail snacks, post ride food and refreshments, video analysis, and ongoing feedback from our professional coaches. We will post 2019 dates in February and suggest that you sign up as soon as the dates drop, this class is in high demand with very limited enrollment!
